Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between home care and home health care?

Home care provides non-medical support with everyday needs such as personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, and daily routines. Integrity Senior Care specializes in personalized, non-medical home care that helps individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Home health care provides medical services ordered by a healthcare provider, such as skilled nursing, physical therapy, or wound care.

What services do you provide?

See our Home Care Services Tab for our services.

How quickly can services start?

In many cases, services can begin within 1-2 weeks after your no-obligation FREE assessment is completed.

How is home care paid for?

We accept private pay, long-term care insurance, and Respite Grants through your county, and Veterans benefits. Many Veterans qualify for FREE care services. Contact us to learn more about payer options.

Who are your caregivers?

Our caregivers are carefully screened, trained, background-checked, bonded, and insured. We prioritize compassion, reliability, and the right personality match for each client.

What areas do you serve in Illinois?

We proudly serve Plainfield, IL and surrounding areas including Joliet, Crest Hill, Shorewood, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Oswego, Yorkville, Minooka, Channahon, Morris, Ottawa, Streator, Peru, LaSalle, Pontiac, Dwight, and beyond.

What is a service plan?

A service plan is a personalized schedule of tasks and services based on the client’s needs, preferences, and goals. We review and update it regularly to ensure the best care.

Do you provide dementia and Alzheimer's care?

Yes. Our caregivers receive dementia-specific training to provide compassionate, personalized support for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We focus on maintaining familiar routines, promoting safety and independence, assisting with daily needs, and providing meaningful companionship while supporting families throughout the care journey.

Do you provide care after a hospital or rehabilitation stay?

Yes. Integrity Senior Care can provide non-medical support after a hospital or rehabilitation stay to help make the transition home safer and easier. Caregivers can assist with personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility assistance, errands, and other daily needs while your loved one recovers at home.

How do you make sure caregivers are providing quality care?

We maintain high standards through careful caregiver screening, ongoing training, regular supervisory visits, care documentation, and communication with clients and families. Our office team stays involved throughout care to address concerns, monitor changing needs, and ensure caregivers are following each client’s personalized service plan.

Do I need a doctor’s order to receive services?

No. Because we provide non-medical care, no prescription or doctor's order is needed. You can call us directly to get started. If you’re a Veteran, a VA doctor can assist in putting in your orders for eligibility to home care. Let your VA provider know that you would like Integrity Senior Care to be your preferred  home care agency.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Integrity Senior Care takes client privacy and confidentiality seriously. We safeguard personal and health information and only share information as permitted or necessary to coordinate services and care.

Can a family member help with caregiving?

Yes! We can coordinate with family caregivers, provide respite support, or even help train and support your loved ones in their caregiving role.
